While much of America watches from the comfort of their couch, or from the kitchen of a close friend or relative, a great many people will venture out to find a fun, local watering hole. Cheering on a team, watching the year’s most talked about commercials, eating some good food and drinking some good beer can happen at home or at a nearby establishment. Revelry on Richmond
1613 Richmond Ave, Houston
The Super Bowl Watching Party at Revelry on Richmond is a ticketed event. They will be hosting a Super Bowl Buffet that will start at 3 pm. Yes, it will be all-you-can-eat and feature burgers, hot dogs, pulled pork sliders, sausage on a stick, frito pie, chips and queso, and spinach and artichoke dip. Center Stage Gallery
3527 Texas 6 South, Sugar Land
The Center Stage Gallery in Sugar Land will be hosting a Football Watch Party for the Super Bowl. Doors will open at noon, and tickets are currently $12 for pre-sale adult entry. VIP Suites are also available for $150 and $200 respectively. Games, trivia, cards, popcorn, snacks, music and the game will all be on hand. Setups and corkage fees are also available. Proof Rooftop Lounge
2600 Travis Street, Houston
Proof Rooftop Lounge will be hosting a Sundown Super Bowl Party, where guests are welcome to come hang out on the patio, enjoy the hookahs, food, and drink specials, and watch the game on a giant projector or one of several HDTVs placed all over the venue. Reservations are required and free tickets can be purchased here. Doors will open at 10 AM, and the Super Bowl menu will feature $3 drafts, $5 Bud Light pitchers, and $5 large pizzas.
Saint Arnold Brewing Company
2000 Lyons Ave, Houston
Houston’s oldest craft brewery, the Saint Arnold Brewing Company, will be hosting their annual Super Beef Sunday from 11 am – 2 pm. This is the perfect event for anyone planning to catch the game at home, but would like a full stomach before kickoff. They will be selling pre-portioned whole brisket and beef ribs for pre-purchase. Along with beer, CorkScrew BBW and Louie Mueller Barbecue will be serving BBQ. The event costs $50 and tickets can be purchased here.
The Hay Merchant
1100 Westheimer Road, Houston
The Hay Merchant is hosting a Super Bowl Viewing Party that starts at 6 pm. Admission is free. Blood Bros. BBQ will be on hand to take care of any meat cravings that might arise. Blood Bros. BBQ is a traveling pop-up barbeque kitchen that is gaining quite a reputation around Houston, and they will be offering beef rib plates for purchase, and The Hay Merchant will have plenty of craft beer on hand.
